Most golfers don’t need to stop golfing. They need to find out why their body can’t tolerate the swing.

A golf-specific movement assessment that finds what's limiting your swing, stealing your distance, and tightening your back — then builds a real plan to fix it.

If any of these sound like you — you're in the right place.

  • Your back tightens up every time you swing and you feel stiff for the first 5 holes

  • You're quietly losing distance without knowing why

  • You take pain relievers before a round just to get through it

  • You've been told to "rest" or "stop playing" — and refused

  • Your pro says your mechanics are inconsistent but you can't feel why

Common conditions we see in golfers every week.

Every golfer's pain is different. These are the most common patterns — and what's usually driving them.

Low Back Pain & Stiffness

Pain or tightness that builds during a round, flares after, or makes the first few holes miserable. Usually driven by hip and thoracic mobility limits — not just the back itself.

Hip Pain & Restricted Rotation

Limited hip turn directly affects your swing mechanics. Pain in the lead or trail hip, or stiffness that limits your backswing depth and follow-through.

Loss of Distance

Quietly losing yards without a clear reason. Often caused by reduced thoracic rotation, hip mobility loss, or compensations your body made to protect a painful area.

Thoracic Spine Stiffness

Mid-back restriction that limits backswing depth, follow-through, and the separation between your hips and shoulders at impact.

Golfer's Elbow

Inner elbow pain from impact, grip, or swing compensations. Often a downstream effect of mechanics issues rather than pure overuse.

Neck Pain After Rounds

Neck stiffness or headaches after playing often points to thoracic restriction forcing the neck to overwork during rotation.

Lead Knee Pain

Stress on the front knee during deceleration and weight transfer — common when hip mobility or stability is limiting how the swing loads.

Shoulder Pain & Restriction

Pain at the top of the backswing, during follow-through, or with overhead reach. Can limit how far back you can take the club.

Sciatica & Leg Pain

Pain that runs into the buttock or leg during or after rounds — often aggravated by the repeated rotation and compressive load of the golf swing.

A movement screen built specifically for golfers.

The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) screen assesses 16 physical characteristics that directly affect your golf swing. It finds the movement limitations and weaknesses that most providers never look for.

Dr. Cory uses the TPI screen alongside his clinical assessment to build a plan that addresses both your pain and your performance — so you don't just feel better, you swing better.

The physical reasons your swing isn't working — and what to do about them.

Limited hip internal rotation, restricted thoracic spine mobility, poor stability at the top of the backswing, and inadequate hip-to-shoulder separation are the most common culprits. The screen finds yours specifically.

What golfers ask before booking.

  • In most cases no. The goal is to keep you on the course. We modify load and activity as needed — but stopping golf is rarely the answer.

  • Most chiropractic care treats the painful area. We assess how you move through the golf swing and find the upstream cause. A tight hip loading the back incorrectly requires a very different approach than adjusting the back and sending you home.

  • The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) screen assesses 16 physical characteristics that directly relate to the golf swing. Combined with a clinical assessment, the first visit typically runs a full hour — so we have time to find the real problem and explain it clearly.

  • Yes. Physical limitations directly limit power and distance. Addressing them improves both how you feel and how you perform. Many patients report distance gains alongside pain relief.

  • No referral needed. Book a free discovery call to talk through what's going on before committing to a full assessment.
